LARGER BAGS THAN OTHER SUPPLIERS AT A BETTER PRICE (PER M3).

When filled, our bags contain approximately 1m3 of loose logs. Most other local firewood businesses provide smaller bags.

Please note that due to the nature of cutting & packing you may receive some smaller or larger logs than the 10" we strive for.

WE ALSO PROVIDE 8" LOGS

Our 8" logs are best chosen for a smaller stove or fire, please note due to utilising a separate cutting process our 8" logs may not always be available on the delivery date you select.

ABOUT OUR KILN-DRIED HARDWOOD & LARCH (STOVEWOOD)

KILN-DRIED HARDWOOD INFORMATION
Our bulk bags are filled with a premium mix of hardwoods, including Beech, Birch, Alder, and Sycamore—carefully chosen for their excellent burn quality and affordability.

These hardwoods are ideal for a range of uses, from log burners and open fires to hot tubs, saunas, and fire pits, providing long-lasting heat and a steady burn.

Each bag is packed with one or more of these quality firewoods, ensuring you’ll always receive a fantastic blend, though the exact mix of species may vary, all of our firewood is selected for its high performance and value.

KILN-DRIED LARCH (aka STOVEWOOD) INFORMATION
Larch is an economy wood that is suitable for enclosed burners only due to it's tendency to spark. It is a softwood that can be quite resinous (even after being dried) which adds to it's calorific value (ie, Larch burns hotter & longer than any other softwood).

DELIVERY PLACEMENT
Our Bulk-Bags are delivered using HiAb (crane).
We will do our best to place your bulk-bag where you request it (please see our reviews), however there may be occasions that this may not be possible.

Great service and logs

This is my third delivery from Ravensby, and won't be my last. The quality of wood is great, the ordering process is simple and the delivery driver could not be more helpful, placing logs just where I asked. I would thoroughly recommend.

Logs delivered as requested, good quality.
Hiab was leaking oil and had to be cleaned off bag cover before emptying, warned by driver, so was aware.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, unfortunatley due to the nature and volume that the vehicles are used some wear and tear is expected & there can be intermittent faults.
