OUR FIREWOOD IS KILN-DRIED TO UNDER 20% MOISTURE LEVEL
We are Ready to Burn Certified meaning your logs are dry and ready for your fire straight from delivery!


NEW FOR 2025 - CLEANER LOGS!

Your Logs are now "screened and cleaned" twice! This means much, MUCH less debris when tipped as well as much less "shrapnel". Screening and cleaning the logs will provide a more consistently sized log will be received.

Our firewood is always sustainably sourced from forests committed to regeneration.

CUT TO APPROXIMATELY 10" IN LENGTH
Our logs are suitable for the vast majority of wood burners and fires. Please note that due to the nature of cutting & packing you may receive some smaller or larger logs than the 10" we strive for.

2-5 DAY DELIVERY
We aim to deliver your order as soon as we have space in our diary (usually in 2-5 working days).

We will email you with with a delivery date around 24 hours after order placement. Please note that during peak times we may take slightly longer to deliver your firewood.

DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT FOR DELIVERY?
Nope! You are not required to be at home when we deliver your firewood.
Simply let us know where you would like your order unloaded and our driver will tip in your requested location.

If you leave a tarpaulin out we will tip onto this to try and minimise the mess. We will also cover your logs if you require.

We have tarpaulins for sale here should you require one.

HOW IS MY WOOD DELIVERED?
Your wood is delivered by our in-house delivery team.

Loads Are Delivered by Transit Tipper.

We require a minimum of 2.3m width to fit our delivery vehicles.

If we cannot tip onto your property due to access issues we will tip at an agreed closest proximity point.

LACK OF ACCESS AN ISSUE?
If space or access is an issue please do not hesitate to use our convenient GRAB NETS or BULK BAG service.

HARDWOOD or LARCH

KILN-DRIED HARDWOOD INFORMATION

Our Giant Nets are filled with a premium mix of hardwoods, including Beech, Birch, Alder, and Sycamore—carefully chosen for their excellent burn quality and affordability.

These hardwoods are ideal for a range of uses, from log burners and open fires to hot tubs, saunas, and fire pits, providing long-lasting heat and a steady burn.

Each bag is packed with one or more of these quality firewood's, ensuring you’ll always receive a fantastic blend, though the exact mix of species may vary, all of our firewood is selected for its high performance and value.

KILN-DRIED LARCH (aka STOVEWOOD) INFORMATION
Larch is an economy wood that is suitable for enclosed burners only due to it's tendency to spark. It is a softwood that can be quite resinous (even after being dried) which adds to it's calorific value (ie, Larch burns hotter & longer than any other softwood).

Excellent service

Another excellent delivery from Ravensby Firewood. Online ordering was easy, communication about our order was spot on, logs were delivered as scheduled and tipped exactly as we requested. As always, the logs are of great quality, burn very well and give off a great heat. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for our firewood.

Perfect Logs

Faultless service and top quality firewood ….. the heat logs are also 10/10…. Put 2 on a hot ash bed and nearly 3 hrs of high heat output.
